Hugh was an ad guy. He started drawing things on the back of business cards while hanging out in bars. Nowadays he’s regarded as something of a global authority on creative thinking.

His book, Ignore Everybody and 39 Other Keys to Creativity, is on my Christmas list (in case you felt like getting me something nice). But you’ll get a good taste for it on his website.

There is a whole gallery of ‘business cards’ to peruse, and I recommend you peruse them immediately. Some are witty and delightful, some are insightful and depressing, all are worth the distraction.
