Go make something.

2 Aug

One of the beautiful things about our modern age is having the tools on hand to make anything, anytime.

We can preserve a moment of spontaneity in near broadcast quality. If inspiration strikes, we can script, shoot and edit a short film right there on a cellphone. You only need to see the fashion photo shoot by fstoppers.com to see what your phone camera is really capable of.

If you’re anything like me, most of your TV viewing happens in a 480 x 385 pixel box. We’re used to watching things in crummy quality. Actually, we’ve embraced it as an aesthetic.

So don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and go make something. Just because it doesn’t look professional, doesn’t mean it can’t be meaningful.
