Find your start.

17 May

I have been known to disappear without warning. This time it was for a (hopefully) good reason. This is what I have been busy with.

Great idea! Really nice, was warm and friendly without being too corny and cheesy. My only criticism is how many people did it engage with? I guess with these things it’s more about the ‘viral’ forwarding of the video more then the actual event itself.

Yeah, you’re right. It’s not so much about generating entries as people seeing the BNZ logo slapped on some content that makes them feel good.

What you don’t see in this video is we were streaming it live online, and trending on Twitter all night.

A case study video will be out in a couple of weeks – I’d say we wrote about 200-300 starts, there were a few thousand people through the square, and about half that again engaging online.

In the end, something like 20% of entries for the whole competition happened on the night, and 80% of entries happened in the days after the stunt.

Rough figures, but we’ll have final stats soon.

Fun way to spend a Friday night though eh.

Yeah, it must have been satisfying to pull of such a nice copy driven idea. . ๐Ÿ˜‰ Love the blog btw, always make sure to check it.
